RCA Cable Ends

We are proud to introduce a very finely made RCA plug to the US. We have been working with the manufacturer on these plugs since late last year, and the finished product is really stunning. As we are directly importing them, we are able to keep the price very reasonable, however, don't be scared off by the low price, these are world class plugs.

The body is brass, coated with a very nice gold plating. The barrel is made from carbon fiber and brass--beautiful.

The back opening will allow up to a 8mm cable to fit and uses a set screw for strain relief. These are locking RCA plugs, so they really grab onto the RCA inlets after they are hand tightened down.

The Xhadow Precision RCA is one of the best made RCA plugs in the world. The main barrel and rear-nut are lathed from pure aluminum rod-stock and anodized in "Xhadow Gray" for a durable and non-conductive finish. Into this barrel assembly fits the contact assembly. Each one is machined from OFC pure Copper (Silver plated) with a machined Teflon dielectric, and an OFC pure Copper machined contact that has been silver-plated.

Each contact allows the termination of wire to be completed via solder, set-screw, or both. This gives the end-user a tremendous amount of flexibility while also allowing them to guarantee a fantastic contact interface with their wires. The fit of these connectors is smooth but very strong, with a tremendous amount of contact pressure to ensure perfect and consistent signal passage with a minimum of contact resistance.

We take these fantastic plugs and cryo treat them which improves their performance even further. The Xhadow's fit and finish is really amazing.

While it appears in the photo to be a high mass plug, it is actually quite light. Fantastic for tube and ultra smooth solid state systems.

We are carrying both the "small" (fits up to a 7.0mm O.D. cable) and "large" Xhadow's (fits up to a TBD O.D. cable) . Each pair comes with a variety of color markers.

Furutech FP-106 RCA connectors. These are beautifully constructed with the central pin made from a unique "filament" design that is Rhodium plated. These also are a locking collet design that allows them to be very securely fastened to the female RCA.

However, the really trick thing about these is that they don't require soldering! The signal and return wires are fastened down by screws and are held in place by pressure, NOT solder. Fantastic! These are really GREAT sounding connectors.

Of course, these are treated by Furutech with their "Alpha" process which includes deep cryogenic treatment and demagnetization.

Furutech FP-120 RCA connectors. These are beautifully constructed with the same "filament" center pin as the above FP-106's. These also utilize a locking collet design ensuring a very secure connection. The main differences between the two is that these will fit up to a 12.3mm (!) cable and require soldering.

These are as good sounding as the FP-106's, depending on the solder used. We like Cardas (no lead) or Johnson IA-423, as they are both very transparent and open sounding. Of course, these are treated by Furutech with their "Alpha" process which includes deep cryogenic treatment and demagnetization.

Furutech FP-110G RCA connectors. These are beautifully constructed with the central pin milled from PCOCC, Teflon insulation, and a Brass body. Of course, these are treated by Furutech with their "Alpha" process which includes deep cryogenic treatment and demagnetization.

Will fit cables up to 9.3mm O.D. Great match with the Oyaide PA-02 interconnect cable.

Furutech FP-162 RCA connectors. A very nice, great looking and inexpensive RCA plug.

The central pin is made from eutectic cast Brass (and treated by Furutech with their alpha process, which includes deep cryogenic treatment and demagnetization), the body from Brass, and the insulator from Teflon. These connectors will fit up to a 7.3mm diameter cable.

Deep cryogenically treated Vampire C7X-CB. The XCB connector was designed by Vampire to be one of the finest affordable male RCA's available. Made from a high purity Copper base, then "direct plated" with Gold. The C7X/CB fits up to a 7.3mm cable. Uses compression to insure proper RF shielding and strain relief.
