IeGO Male Ends

We are proud to introduce the IeGo ends to the US.

IeGO, while not recognized here in the US under their own brand name, is well known in the high end audio industry for their OEM work.

They are now producing an exceptional line of AC ends and IEC's, made from the best available base materials and processes.

Close attention to details, the best metallurgy and utilization of deep cryogenic processing as an integral part of the manufacturing process ensures that these are amonf the finest ends available today.

The connectors are available made from either a pure Furukawa copper base, either plated or bare, or with pure 4 nines pure silver base, with a rhodium plating. These are the only pure silver contact AC connectors available today--and they are exceptional.

IeGO goes to great lengths to ensure that their products are made with the finest available materials, either silver or copper:

• The pure silver plugs, the 8095 series, are made from assayed and verified 4 nines silver that is imported from Norway in coin form, from the royal Norweigan stash. All of the silver is 100% processed by IeGO by a process they deem "PUM". Essentially, the PUM process adheres to the highest standards of metal manufacturing and uses advanced mechanisms to keep oxygen and ipmurities at an ultra low level and that the crystal structure is very long (UP-OCC), with very few voids in the lattice structure. From the reduction furnaces they use, to the way they deep cryogenically treat the parts as an integral part of the manufacturing process, the dedication to quality shows in the final product.
• The copper that the 8055, 8065, 8075 and 8085 series are manufactured form is sourced from Furukawa in Japan, producer of arguably the finest copper in the world. In addition to these using the Furukawa copper, they use the ultra high grade "purple copper" from Furukawa. The copper ends are available either bare copper, or with a vapor deposited layer of gold, rhodium or silver.

IeGO's dedication to quality extends to the case material that they use, as very high grade PC-940A flame retardant polycarbonate plastic made by GE, hard and strong enough to take a direct blow from a hammer.

When holding the IeGO parts in one's hand and inspecting the care and detail that goes into their manufacture, one word comes ot mind, "meticulous".

Above is a picture of the IeGO 8095 series, made from pure 4 nines silver. As silver is very soft, over the silver, a very thin lyer of rhodium is plated to protect the silver mechanically as well as prevent tarnishing.
