The blades are made from a base of the Furutech "Alpha" pure Copper, to which Furutech then applies a beautiful rhodium plating.

Furutech FI-11M (cu). This plug, in our opinion, is one of the best plugs that Furutech makes and it is our favorite affordable plug.

The blades are made from a base of the Furutech "Alpha" pure Copper, to which Furutech then applies a special oxidation inhibiting coating. The combo of this plug and the Furutech FI-11ag IEC comes scary close to the best available at a fraction of the price! Furutech deep cryogenically treats and demagnetizes the metal parts (with their "Alpha" process) before assembly.

As you can see from the exploded view below, Furutech has done a very nice job on this plug, especially in light of the low price!

Buy these and be happy that you have one of the best sounding AC plugs available.

Furutech FI-11M(G). The same plug as above, but with a plating of gold over the copper. A little warmer sounding than the bare copper, so if your system could use just a bit or warmth, this is the plug for you!
