CryoParts Interconnects

Finally, after 5 years, we are proud to announce the availability of our new interconnects. If you are so inclined, and have a few extra minutes to spend learning about these cables, we have detailed the design process on our News Page.

When we design cables, we look at the entire cable structure as a system, not just an assemblage of parts. We carefully design, model, prototype and listen with the goal of makikng sure that the cable performs as a "system", and all of the individual parts work together to form a cohesive and coherent whole.

CryoParts Bravura interconnect. Thank you to one of our customers/friends (D. M.) for the name!

This is CryoParts' best cable. It is a true state of the art cable, worthy of being compared to the best and serving duty in the finest of systems. We are proud to introduce this reference quality interconnect, only surpassed in performance by our Locus Design interconnect, which is MUCH more expensive.

This cable starts with a proprietary braid of our finest deep cryogenically treated, diamond die drawn, dead soft annealed, teflon insulated silver wire and a very effective damping material. The "core" of this cable is especially inert, very well damped, and does not suffer from the microphonics that plague many other braided cables. Over this braid we add many additional layers of cutting edge shielding and damping materials, including; carbon fiber, carbon infused nylon, a special teflon braid, nylon, copper, polyolefin, etc...

All of the various layers, the materials from which they are made, how and in which order they are applied/used and how they interact with each other was carefully thought out, modeled, prototyped and tested to ensure that they all act together to produce a cable with an incredibly low noise floor and very resistant to external influence, both electrical and mechanical.

After mulling over various options, we chose the deep cryogenically treated Oyaide RCA ends as they exhibit a purity of sound on this cable that is almost magic. And as a bonus, they are a very well built end, utilizing a pure silver center pin, but still very durable with an incredibly high level of fit and finish.

CryoParts Cabaletta interconnect.

With our design goals in mind (see above), we start with a unique and proprietary braid of our deep cryogenically treated CryoParts copper/Teflon wire and oversized air tubes, made from a Teflon based material. These tubes, when braided to our specs with the conductors, makes for a very inert and stable medium for the conduction of an audio signal.

Not content to do things halfway and to ensure that this cable performs to the highest level, we then add various layers of cutting edge damping and shielding materials over this unique braid. These materials include, but are not limited to, Teflon, Nylon and a special carbon based material.

To finish off the cable, we chose the the top of the line deep cryogenically treated Cardas RCA ends, as the synergy between our copper cable and these ends is just phenomenal.

We are very proud of these cables and VERY happy with the way they get out of the way and let the music flow. In addition, they are dead quiet and present an ultra black background from which detail and dynamics emerge with amazing clarity and ease.

CryoParts Arioso interconnect.

This cable is constructed the same as the copper interconnect above, save for two things: First, this cable uses a blend of our Teflon insulated deep cryogenically treated CryoParts Copper and our CryoParts Silver. And second, we terminate this cable with the deep cryogenically treated Xhadow connectors as they had a great synergy with this cable.

These share a family sound with the copper interconnects above, but are a just a tad more open sounding in the upper midrange. They are still very smooth sounding like the copper based model above, but the silver coupled with the Xhadow connectors allows just a bit more inner detail through.
