CryoParts Silver Hook Up Wire
We are now offering our own custom silver wire suitable for internal wiring, or fabrication of interconnect or speaker wire.
After exhaustive research into the seemingly never ending world of insulation/dielectric materials, silver purity, annealing techniques, etc., we feel that
this wire offers an very high level of performance that belies its relatively modest price.
Our wire is manufactured from ultra high purity silver, that is further purified and annealed (dead soft annealed) during the drawing process (done with diamond dies), ending up with a purity of 99.995%.
The drawing and annealing processes are very complex and carefully monitored during each stage to ensure quality.
In order to ensure that this wire performs as expected, we specify that either Teflon is carefully extruded, or a 4 layers of cotton is carefully wrapped on for protection and insulation.
Finally, we take this wire and deep cryogenically treat it in house to further enhance its performance.
Use tips--For speaker cables or interconnects, try it both run parallel and twisted to see which works best in your system. The TFE tubing we offer here works very well as a core/spacer on which to wind the silver wires around, if you choose to twist.
Also, try doubling up either the "signal" or "return" conductor for a slightly different sound. One can make a very special cable with this wire, all you need is a little imagination and a willingess to experiment a bit!
