CryoParts MMD Filter

CryoParts MMD power filter. This product is an outgrowth, or "trickle down", of our research and technology developed for the upcoming Locus Design AMD (starting at $5k) and MD (starting at $10k) power filters.

Using technology derived from the AMD and MD, albeit designed to a price point and more friendly form factor, the MMD is a remarkably effective "plug and play" power filter. This is a small form factor, parallel filter device, designed to be used at the source of powerline noise.

These can be used in a variety of ways; plugged into a power strip that your other components are plugged into, plugged into a totally seperate circuit that noisy appliances (ie, fridge, microwave, etc.), or better yet the circuit that you have a computer or switching power supply plugged into. The more you use, the more effectively they operate. Generally, between three and five units is sufficient for all but the largest (or noisiest) of homes.

If you are using ethernet over power line devices, do not use this device on the same circuit as those devices. It is so effective that it will not allow them to operate correctly.
